DUTCH OWNERS, FRENCH CHAMPAGNE

In 2023, we embarked on something truly exceptional: as non-French, we founded our very own Champagne brand, right from the vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. What is traditionally reserved for generations of French families, we dared to pursue! Driven by passion, respect for tradition, and an unwavering focus on quality, we bring a collection of Champagnes that can rival the greatest names, yet with a more honest story and superior quality.

The name Champagne Courtier is a tribute to the original “Courtiers” of the 14th century: the merchants who were the very first to bring Champagne beyond France’s borders. Thanks to them, we can now enjoy this remarkable wine all over the world.

Our mission is clear: we produce Champagne with terroir at its very heart. Pure, refined, and with meticulous attention to every detail. No marketing gimmicks, just true quality, honestly priced.

All our cuvées mature for at least three years in our cellar, almost three times longer than legally required. We never use purchased grapes; instead, we work exclusively with our own vineyards and select only the finest pressed juice from our harvest.

This is precisely what makes Courtier the choice of top chefs, sommeliers, and enthusiasts who expect more than what the big brands can offer.

Only the finest origins are good enough. That is why we work almost exclusively with grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs:

Premier Cru: Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses, Montbré, Sermiers
Grand Cru: Mailly, Verzenay, Verzy, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger

What makes these terroirs so extraordinary? Chalk-rich soils, perfect exposure to the sun, and centuries of winemaking tradition. Every bottle of Courtier is the pure expression of this heritage.
